Summary
Kama is built to respect your privacy. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
Kama does not require you to create an account or provide any personal details. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or any persistent identifier.
Location
If you grant location access, Kama uses your location only on your device to find parking near you and rank lots by walking distance. Your location is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is never stored after it is used. You can use the app without granting location access — it simply centers on Tel Aviv–Yafo instead.
Preferences Stored on Your Device
Your settings — such as Tel Aviv resident status, student status, preferred payment method, and maximum search distance — are saved locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. These preferences never leave your device and are removed if you delete the app.
Network Requests
To show current parking information, Kama fetches publicly available data from municipal and operator sources:
ahuzot.co.il (Ahuzot Hachof) and centralpark.co.il (Central Park).
These requests retrieve public parking listings and availability. They include only a standard app identifier (User-Agent) and a language preference header — no personal information is ever sent.
When you choose to navigate to a parking lot, Kama hands the destination to your selected maps application (Waze, Google Maps, or Apple Maps). Once you leave Kama, that application's own privacy policy applies.
Third-Party Services and Tracking
Kama contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no crash-reporting or tracking SDKs. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across apps or websites. Accordingly, Kama does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to track.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because Kama does not collect any personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. All on-device preferences are removed when you uninstall the app.
Children's Privacy
Kama is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Since Kama does not collect or process personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export, or erase. If you have any questions about privacy or believe this policy is inaccurate, contact us at the address below and we will respond promptly.
Changes to This Policy
If our data practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds a feature that collects data — we will update this policy and revise the effective date above before that feature ships.
